Guest guest
Today I received (at no cost) a book entitled " The State of the States. " It details thru graphs where money is spent, what services are available, if and what waivers there are, the waiting lists, community services and supports. What I have is the preliminary report, first printing. Will be interesting to see what happens as this goes further. This is most interesting IF you take it slow and look at the index to see the page that you need. Very hard to read if one just starts at page one. If you contemplate moving or want to know what is going on in your state and or neighboring states, I suggest you write for one. aamr@... is the request address. -- Sara - Life is a journey- we choose the path. Guest guest
www.colemaninstitute.org Then look for the STATE OF THE STATES. Put your state in. OR order the whole book - which I did so I could make a rational comparison. Understand that the figures are over length of time but end in 2006. Still, it does give a great p[icture. This is a worthwhile website to check out IMHO> > > > > Sara, I could find the link that you posted for the Institute > " State of the States " report. Could you try it again?
