Participating in study to sequence my the complete genome

Univ of Miami has a CMT type 2 study to discover new mutations that cause CMT.

I am very excited that I will get my complete genome sequenced if after getting

my medical records I still qualitify for study. I may get a chance to discover

my exact cause of CMT just like Dr Lipski has done at Baylor Univ.

I spend part of my time in South Fl and recently attended a Neuropathy

Foundation education day in Miami a few months ago.. I also got to meet Jackie

and a few other frequent posters from the cmt group. I would expect it to take

some time to get records and it wont be till the summer before they start the

process.

I can not wait!
