I have CMT and sleep apnea. Diagnosed with CMT about 9 years ago....with sleep

apnea about 4 years ago. But I had symptoms of sleep apnea at east 20 years

ago. Waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get my breath.

I use a CPAP machine, the type that does NOT cover the mouth. I much prefer

that one to the other one. The only time I wake up breathless now is

occasionally when I fall asleep in the recliner. Still have fatigue alot. More

in the mid afternoon than morning. Try to get a nap every afternoon, but I'm

not always successful due to things going on.

Carl, your CMT and sleep apnea situation is exactly like mine. Without an

afternoon nap with my CPAP, I am weary and sluggish for the rest of the day.
