Fwding as is below:

Sorry guys, sending y'all all this information on diet & etc. topics,

this is my journey now that I know this is huge in my son's world

where it has impacted his life big times and going with the flow

sharing if anyone can relate.

One who is overwhelmed with the hidden culprit which triggers off so

much with some of my son's health issues.

You could say over my denial stage, not that I wanted to stray away

too much of it as I have seen some improvements health wise but

sometimes when you jump over one hurdle another challenge occurs so

moving forward once again empowering myself in this department.

RE:

This week on Autism Tree there have been a number of entries added

that talk about diet and the role it plays in helping or hindering

those on the spectrum.

I suppose it comes as no surprise that diet may play a role as we

have all felt the effects of too much sugar or rich food from time

to time.

This week there is an article on the GFCF diet and in the video

section there are two videos by s, a Certified

Nutrition Consultant, on what foods effect autism behaviors and

what symptoms can be improved with a change in diet.

Diet aside there are also many more entries that take a look at

recent autism research and offer practical tips.

How Effective is a GFCF Diet for ASDs

More recently, celebrities such as McCarthy have been

GFCF diet. This has lead many parents...

Hyperbaric Therapy and Autism

Hyperbaric Therapy (HBOT) has become so popular that there are

currently over 7,000 different facilities worldwide where HBOT is

quickly in very deep waters)...

Among treatments where parents are increasingly seeing improvements

in their children's symptoms is sensory integration treatment.

autistic children is a new study released by researchers at Temple

University and presented at the April, 2008 American Occupational

Therapy Association conference.

This study found that children on...

How do I Find an Expert in My Area?

Aside from the initial diagnosis, one of the first challenges faced

by parents of autistic children is that of trying to discover

autism experts who can best help their children with treatments and

the minimizing of symptoms as well as the slowing or halting of the

progression of the disorder. Knowing where to look to...

Neurofeedback May Help Retrain Brains In Children With Autism
