I know that this is a bit convoluted, but it may help some of you with

girls and bad skin.

I had a hysterectomy in Oct and consider Estrogen to be EVIL for my body.

In addition to many issues, I always had really painful, large, deep

blemishes (read zits) around my cycle. I was on HRT after my hysterectomy

and still had cycles that created these lovely marks on my face to my butt

(sorry). After I went off HRT my skin got so much better, but my hot

flashes got worse.

So, I tried black cohash and the zits came back. Well, it would seem that

black cohash is just like estrogen in your body. Estrogen - bad for me.

OK, so where am I going with this? I have been drinking soy milk for

several months as my son Logan (DS/ASD) is lactose intolerant and I am a

bit, too. Anyway, even off of black cohash and HRT, I was still having skin

problems and I am 36, not 16! I was very frustrated and looking at

supplements at the drug store as I know take a bunch for my hot flashes. I

realized that many of them had soy in them and that soy ALSO is similar to

estrogen for women..UGH!!!

So, I stopped the soy about 4 days ago and the big ugly ones are gone -

back, chest, face - everywhere.

If you have a child (girl) who drinks soy or eats soy in their diet and is

having skin problems, it may be something to thing about.

Sorry this is so much " personal " info, but I could think of no other way to

explain it.
