Guest guest
Connor wears the L/XL goodnites... I usually change him when he gets up, before nap, after nap and before bedtime... however, if there is a bowel movement or other issues we can use anywhere from 4-8... the week of the stomach bug I think I used about 12 in a six hour period, talk about throwing money away! Anyone know what medicaid is like in Oregon? I would love to get help with diapers as he is showing no interest in pottying and is still fairly nonverbal... I have tried routine training, setting him on potty at changing but he just sits on toilet and wants to play in the toilet water... Guest guest
Amy,Ask your pediatrician if he or she knows what to do. If you already have medicaid for Connor just call them and they will tell you what you need to do. I just had to get a written prescription from the doctor and then Medicaid gave me a list of where to order the pull ups from. I just have to call every month and the order arrives the next day. Wish I had known about it sooner! I am in NJ.Terry

Guest guest
For medicaid waiver there is no income restriction. For SSI the restriction is $2,297.00 per month. If you make exactly $2,297.00 per month your child gets a $1.00 but he gets the medical card. For Medicaid waiver they have to qualify by several different things for example: not feeding themselves, not potty trained, not able to walk ( like needing a wheelchair) etc. In our state a Case Mangement company comes to your home and does the assestment. You just need to apply. Cyndi B > > Hi Terry, > > > > I would love to get pull-ups through Medicaid for my son, . How does one qualify for Medicaid? BUT FIRST one must find the department or office that handles Developmental Disabilities or MEntal Retardation in your state. Then you find out the application policy.
