Guest guest
Hi Bob: I've been sprouting broccoli sprouts for quite some time now. Along with my other sprouts. I would say (for me), and I use the Sprout Garden, and depending on the climate and how often I water them (more in warmer weather), I let them sprout for 4 days or so. Then I dump them in a big bowl of water, swish around while the hulls float away, let them drain on a colander, then I put them in my spinning thing which gets all the water out, then I put them in ziplock bags and refrigerate. I eat them at EVERY meal. So I'm getting all that good stuff in my body all day long. At least this is what I tell myself. lol Sproutingly, Melody > > What is the best time (number of days sprouted) and way (to increase > health beneficial phytochemicals in the body) to eat Broccoli sprouts? > > Any thoughts on this? > > Thank you, > > Bob > > > >
Guest guest
Someone just had a link to something like that. So there is a link that can be had. I can't recall who had it. Think I made a copy of it. I'm sure they will come up with the link. I have found that in a few things that I liked better when it was shorter sprouts. With their microgreens they are often longer. I haven't done them. And it may be that one gets used to them as well.  I tried some roots on some like beans that I didn't like. So beans I'd eat while fairly short and might cut off the roots. You'll have to wait for somone more experienced. Any thoughts on this? Thank you, Bob
Guest guest
Is there a best number of days of sprouting for the maximum phytochemical content? And is there a best way to eat them to achieve maximum absorption of phytochemicals? Thank you, Bob > > > > What is the best time (number of days sprouted) and way (to increase > > health beneficial phytochemicals in the body) to eat Broccoli sprouts? > > > > Any thoughts on this? > > > > Thank you, > > > > Bob > > > > > > > >
