Guest guest
Whole Foods Store may have some. Try Sproutpeople.com. If you like broccoli you will like the 3 or 4 seeds packages for sprouting. They are mixes. One thing with your local nursery sprouts in a small package is that they may be treated to germinate and so may not be organic. I am a fairly new newbie too so some of the others may have better information than I do. I just know where I've bought items. I love the alfalfa, broccoli, clover and radish mix (4 seed mix). Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Saturday, April 14, 2012 12:24 AM Subject: Where can I get a small quantity of organic broccoli seeds for sprouting?  I am a newbie and I am just now sprouting my first broccoli sprouts having used organic garden broccoli seeds I bought at a local store in a small envelope. I would now like to try sprouting a larger quantity of broccoli sprouts. And garden seeds in small envelopes are just going to be too expensive to do this I think. QUESTION: Where can I get a small quantity of organic broccoli seeds for sprouting at a reasonable price? Thanks, Bob
Guest guest
Before I found sprout people, probably about 9 years ago, I found broccoli seeds put up by NOW (they make supplements) in my local health food store. You may be able to find some there. Guest guest
When getting small amounts I got them at my local Whole Foods. A health food store may carry small quantities also. Guest guest
bob.....if you have a health food store close by, you can buy small packages of sprouts at most of them.....probably 4 oz packages is the smallest that you'll find.....if you look on the " sproutpeople " website, you'll find lots of sample sizes of different kinds of sprouts.....you'll find out what you enjoy and what you don't.....what you don't, you cand feed to your dog or cat or pet bird .....peace, mary > > > I am a newbie and I am just now sprouting my first broccoli sprouts > having used organic garden broccoli seeds I bought at a local store in a > small envelope. Guest guest
Hi Bob, I get mine from my local HFS. They are $5.99 for 4 oz, made by Now Healthy Foods & are labeled " For Sprouting...Broccoli Seeds " . It is in a vitamin-style plastic bottle (never seen seeds sold like this before) & I have had good success with them. I am on a tight budget...I hate paying shipping charges that almost equal the amount I'm paying for seed! I was really surprised that my local HFS sells some organic seeds for sprouting...check it out in your area. I have also found seeds @ Whole Foods in their bulk section...beans, grains, cereal, etc. My local farm coop also sells some sprouting seeds in their bulk food section...just some ideas on where to find sprouting seeds. > > Whole Foods Store may have some. Try Sproutpeople.com. If you like broccoli you will like the 3 or 4 seeds packages for sprouting.
