Guest guest
Good sign, we're going in the right direction!! It helps to have some sign that it is working, eh? You started out about the same place I did with the alt/ast levels. Keep up the good work! -dz-Shane <mrshaneg@...> wrote: I had my first lab done on Tuesday since I started tx and have some promising results. AST was 84 and now is 60, ALT was 133 now is 83. Guest guest
Jarom, Welcome back to CI Hear and Congratulations on your good news. I'm very excited for you. I guess you have to wait for insurance to make this a sure thing but I see insurance approving th bilateral implant all the time now and I suspect that this will go thru with ease or at least I'm hoping so. I don't want to forget to tell you how proud I was to read your news about your plans and you know that there we are certainly all here rooting for you with the implant and your plans for college and the future. Alice Dear Everybody, I am sure that some of you know that today I have a appointment with Dr. Shelton at University regarding to me going bilateral which mean I will be implanted with second cochlear implant. Anyway, I met with the surgeon and we discussed my reasons and his opinions. We came to the conclusion that I should be recieve an second implant. So I am approved for the second implant and the date is scheduled for 15th of September. But we have to wait and hear from my insurance company. The insurance coordinator at U hospitial said that they will cover it but not how much but we are hoping for 100% I have selected the system and it will be Nucleus 24 Contour just like the one I have. My surgeon told me to get same brand because he will not do the different brands because he believes that I am better off with Nucleus 24 Contour. Guest guest
That is a great feeling, isn't it!! When I was on the treatment, my dr waited 6 mos before doing a second pcr, but when he did, and it came back undetectable, I knew I could make it through the remainder of the treatment, knowing at least that it was doing some good. Congratulations!! -dz-Barbara <vynca_minor@...> wrote: Good Morning Everyone!I just got the results back from my 12 week PCR (viral load) and theresults are.... drum roll please..... UNDETECTABLE!! Guest guest
Hi there If you are already seeing good repo results, that is great news! In fact, the skull grows the most between four and six months (which is why if it is not working, it often gets worse then), so doing your repo during this time should really yield further improvements. I'm so pleased for you. The main thing is for you to be happy with the results.
