Rinse and drain (every 12 hours) if in the cooler, and much more frequently if on my counter-top (with an ice pack on top). When I took the trays out of the cooler, the broccoli smell hit me between the eyes. I said UH OH!!! Sure enough, there were two bad trays. " Well, I am having trouble with my clover. The alfalfa does fine but the clover always goes bad. I might can get it to the fridge but it will only last 1 -2 days in the fridge, if it makes it there. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Guest guest
Maybe it's the weather. We seem to be in the same boat. I think in my case I use too many broccoli seeds in ratio to the other. The last time this happened was YEARS ago when I tried to sprout broccoli sprouts all by themselves. Same thing happened. Mel > > Melody said " I have no idea what happened. Guest guest
In this weather, I try to cook as much as possible outdoors. If I cook in the kichen, I carry my sprouts into the dining room. Or, if we're going to use the table, I put the sprouts in the bathtub. Then move them back when the kitchen cools. ew Re: Re: Clover problems Maybe, We have been so hot, I have the ac set at 74 but the sprouts are in the kitchen so I guess any time I cook it gets warmer. Even with the fan blowing on the sprouts.
Guest guest
I had two batches that didn't make it to the fridge then the last one only lasted two days in the fridge. Right now I don't even have anything sprouting. I sort of felt in my gut I needed somewhere with more air flow. R. > Honey, they never made it to the refrigerator (in my case that is).
