be optimistic about the treatment for CMT

Dear friends,

One scholar in Taiwan uses 15 years to find the treatment ,Myozyme, for

Pompe disease and has got patents and found drug companiese in USA (FDA

approved) and Europe (EU approved) to produce the medicine for Pompe

disease. He specializes in rare genetic disorder.

I emailed him to ask how likely the treatment for CMT can be found before I

die?

The following is his response:

" There are many, many more researchers doing reserach in developing

treatment for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease than Pompe disease, I'm optimistic

that there will be new treatment. "
