Geri's in the Hospital and needs some help!

Hi,

This is Geri's friend Russ.

She was put back in the hospital again last Thursday due to reactions to the

blood pressure med's they had her on the week before when she was in the

hospital.

She was on Atenol for a heart beat problem and high blood pressure and this drug

caused her to be short of breath,stop urinating and blow up like a balloon with

fluids.

She is on Diovan and another drug that is suspossed to make her heart not have

to work as hard (I cant remember the name :0( but now they keep upping the

doses and her blood pressure keeps going up the more they give her (it was

244/91 tonight!

She wants to know what do you guy's take for blood pressure?

She is highly sensitive to meds and is afraid there going to kill her before

they believe she can't take certin drugs,what do you take and do you have

problems like this too?
