Guest guest
Melody, You look like a sci fi monster. But, I have a probably stupid question, and I'll ask it anyway: Where does the little tray drain to? or does this method not need anything? I have some baby blanket on the way, and will soon try some micro-greens. Thanks... Dona > > I was very impressed by the laser guy's ziplock tray sprouters. I love the fact that the lid is thin and using a Sure to Grow Mat or a baby blanket will allow the sprouts to GO UP. And it's not so big that if something happens, it's not a 10 x 20 tray. > > So today I got industrious and made a micro-greening sprouter thingee. > > lol > > And you'll all burst out laughing halfway through the video. > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnPprfXChPo > > Melody >
Guest guest
Ah, good question. When I'm watering the baby blanket (with seeds)(which holds water very well), I then put it to drip on my drain rack. After a few minutes, the water is drained and I put it back on my shelves. I also have towels on the shelves to catch any excess water. But I really like the way the microgreens look as they are shooting up. They look completely different than my sprouts do and I have no idea why. They are GREENER!! I wonder why, lol Melody > > > > I was very impressed by the laser guy's ziplock tray sprouters.
