Guest guest
Hi. Are you trying to respond via email? or by going to the site directly? If you are trying to respond via email, once you have read the email, go all the way down and you'll see several options. Click on Reply via Email, and you'll be brought to the site and then you can type in your posting. I do know what you mean by lots of posts in one email. Sometimes people forget to trim their posts. I'm guilty of doing that too. So hopefully you can figure out what's going on and you'll be able to post some comments. Don't give up, we need more sprouters!! lol Melody > > Sometimes I would like to get in on the sproutpeople conversation, but when > I have tired in the past (two times), I ran into a problem. Guest guest
Melody, what do you mean by trimming posts? I also see two places to " Reply, " one at the top and one at the bottom. Don't know if any difference. I looked for some detail on posting when I first signed up, but didn't find much. Guest guest
By trimming posts in my opinion is instead of replying with all the previous text in my reply I highlight then click delete on what is not necessary. I removed most of your message and all of Melody's reply and then all the stuff at the end of all yahoo group emails. Guest guest
Jill, Whenever you post on this site, the post should automatically come back to you as a message on the site. As far as all the messages still attached. I've asked people many time to just delete messages on the bottom on the thread. Some do and some don't. Also, some respond without the message or the part of the message that they are referring to. But all in all, you have to remember that people are the strangest creatures on Earth. Don't despair. It can't only get better. I'm 78 and except for being ugly, its all good. ew Sproutpeople dialogue Sometimes I would like to get in on the sproutpeople conversation, but when I have tired in the past (two times), I ran into a problem. The input I sent did not appear on the page, and I'm not sure why. I guess I'm not clear on how or where to go on the page so that what I send is received. And then, on my computer anyway, all the dialogue is repeated several times. I have to scroll through a LOT and sort out what's what. And then, some of the input from others is spread out, especially at the end of the page, to triple space, and still a repetition of previous conversation on the page. Does everyone have these issues to deal with, and maybe I'm being too particular, or is it just on my computer. If so, I wonder why, and what I can do about it? Thanks for any suggestions you can offer. Jill
Guest guest
Trim you posts means to go out to your fence and take some sandpaper a make it shorter.
