Guest guest
I've been on LTD from Disney for sometime now, and am becoming really bored. I wake up, take my meds, eat, and many times I go right back to bed because there's nothing to do. When I get bored, I get relaxed, and I tend to just sleep. I actually look forward to doctor appts, because it gets me out of my house and gives me something to do. I'm feeling well enough that I'm contemplating a return to work by end of April, hopefully FT, but definitely PT. I applied for SSD benefits 2 weeks ago, and will probably work 9 months at FT hours, using my trial work period from SSD, before reducing my hours to PT. The 9 month trial work period will help me get caught up from more than 12 months of very little income. This is all assuming SSD comes through in time. Can some of you that are on disability (either by SSD or LTD) suggest to me and the group how you stay active, without working? I really do get so bored at home at times, and I refuse to clean my house 24/7. I had one person say to me" Man, your house must be clean, with nothing else to do!". Ideas? Yahoo!
