I am not sure who you are asking, but I grow stevia. Once grown, I dry the

leaves and buzz them up in the Vitamix into a fine powder (you can use a coffee

grinder too-I recommend a dedicated coffee grinder just for it, otherwise it

picks up the flavor of the coffee previously ground) One plant makes a decent

mason jar full of powder, and a little goes a long way. Done this way, the

powder isn't snow white like it comes in packats, which leads me to believe that

the commercially available stuff is bleached or chemical treated. Mine comes

out a very pale cream to greenish color. Very easy plant to grow. I actually

forgot one out on my porch one year, didn't water it for ages, and didn't think

it would come back to life-it ended up being the sweetest one ever, lol.

:

I think I could grow Stevia. Where do you get the seeds? And what exactly would

I need to do?

Wouldn't this be so cool? If I could grow Stevia right along side of my

sunnies, peas and popcorn?

lol

Check at Lowes or Home Depot for a stevia plant that is already growing, start

with that, rather than seed for your first go at it. They need to be potted in

soil, but do fine even in a tiny pot-yes, you could grow them right alone with

your other goodies!
