Dear Liz,

Good for you! Be aware that

the electrodes are of very soft metal and the more often they bend, the more

likely they will be to break. The hot water makes them bend very easily! But

if you don’t have to scrub them with a toothbrush like I did, it might

not be so much of a problem.

There is someone who

contributes fairly regularly to this listserve, and who has made a headband (I

think it’s called Neuroband) and several people seem to be using it. It’s

not expensive, and it might be a good strategy for you. If you’d care to

repost with Neuroband in the subject line, I’ll bet you’ll get some

help answering that question.

Good luck!

Jill

Finished Son's Assessment, Need a Valium

Jill,

I use the cups and I do get that little bit of paste through the hole.

I actually have no trouble cleaning them. I soak them immediately in a

bowl of very hot water and all the paste miraculously dissolves.

I'm wondering how saline would work as an alternative, since I seem to

be so messy. I guess you need a headband then to keep the electrodes on?
