Guest guest
Thought you guys might want to watch this - a Michigan farmer and what he's going through. Yes, it is really getting crazy! I do have a website Melody - I'd share it here so you can see...but you just never know. We try to stay " under the radar " as much as possible nowadays. That's why I really hesitate to have who knows who come by. I actually had a trailer on craigslist last summer and guess who showed up to possibly buy it? A USDA guy....scarey. He was really nice though! To add to your GREENS recipe, I use some red pepper strips and shredded carrots. Then I add a little white wine vinegar, balsamic or apple cider vinegar (raw) sprinkled on top. I also add sesame seeds to the top. I probably under cook my greens versus overcooking them. I wait until the color changes and they have begun to cook - that's done enough for me. I definitely use the stems - I love them. There is really no difference - it's part of the vegetable and you paid for it! I'm thinking....wouldn't it be good to put some sprouts in this mix too? Especially the bean sprouts? Carol S.
