Guest guest
Cinematherapy (from http://www.neuropathy.org) Movies can provide cinematherapy, yet another approach to wellness. Cinema lovers can read about this approach in Reel Therapy, The Motion Picture Prescription: Rent Two Films and Let's Talk in the Morning, by Dr. .* Dr. is a mental health therapist who invented the concept of cinematherapy. The books he has written do not address health issues, but rather emotional ones. Judging from the comments of many people with neuropathy, health issues often affect the emotions, which in turn affect relationships. In Dr. 's books, he prescribes movies to help you deal with emotional issues. They are healing guides to help you resolve life's problems. If you believe laughter is the best therapy, then rent funny movies. Get yourself a video or DVD movie guide and flip through it to remind you of rib-tickling flicks to re-run. You can buy DVDs and videos (and music DVDs too) for $2 to $4 at some used book sales. * , . Reel Therapy, The Motion Picture Prescription: Rent Two Films and Let's Talk in the Morning.
