Guest guest
I will check so that I can rule out an infection Thanks ________________________________ To: Sent: Fri, November 27, 2009 12:39:39 PM Subject: Debbie Hi, Everyone.... .Debbie.. ..both times that Gareth regressed on toilet training, he had a urinary infection. I am sure that excitement may be a cause, too, but please r/o infection.. You can easily start by doing this at home --- catching a clean flow in a clear, clean jar --- preferably the first pee in the morning is best. If it is cloudy or pinkish than you know for sure there's a problem.. This info doesn't diminish the need for a doctor's visit --- only that you can see yourself if there's a problem. Also....how about adult depends or similar on party days or days when a lot of people are visiting. Then, no one has to know. There are also meds for anxiety....perhaps a low dose will take the edge off. If it makes you feel any better, Gareth ate his dinner, went in his room and laid in bed the rest of the afternoon. It is very frustrating because I KNOW he wanted so much to see everyone and be a part of the partying, but he couldn't handle it. Maybe someone has the flyer that was written several yrs ago about autism and holidays.... what not to expect our kids to do. Anyone else remember that? I know that I FORGET the autism....I forget because he will have weeks or months and do sooooooooo well and, then, BAMM, days like yesterday bring it back solidly. Take care, Everyone.
