Guest guest
I wonder if he is coming down with an ear infection or flu? In a message dated 4/8/2010 4:59:33 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, laurca24@... writes: Greetings everybody! My son and husband have CMT. My husband hardly has any issues, just fine motor, and it hasn't effected him at all. My son, however, has a lot of coordination issues and that effects his running, catching balls, kicking etc. He has been having vertigo where it feels like the room is spinning and like he might fall off is chair. Last night he said it felt like a " paperweight was on his head " and his hands and feet felt unusually heavy. He also felt like there was a lot of pressure in his limbs and numbness. He also has started limping and says the bottom of his foot hurts. Has anyone else had these feelings? Thanks!
Guest guest
Hello , I'm 75 and having increasing vertigo problems. Lying down on my right side provides relief. I was wondering if your youngster has tried that. EdM from NH ____________________________________________________________
Guest guest
Edwin You may want to ask your physician if you have Benign Positional Vertigo as it is caused by small calcium carbonate deposits in the inner ear that can move and cause intermittent vertigo. That fact that it goes away when you lie in a certain position is a potential indication as the 'fix' is for a therapist to progressively twist the head until the crystals relocate to a part of the ear where they aren't touching nerves. In your case, lying down may temporarily moves them but they can migrate back as you stand up and move about. -------------- Original message from Edwin R More <edwinrmore@...>: -------------- Hello , I'm 75 and having increasing vertigo problems.
