Guest guest
I just think it's amazing that I find all this sprouting and micro-greening to be such FUN. I have friends who have one foot in the grave, moan and groan and when they call me and I go " HEY, HOW ARE YOU " ? They go " why the hell are you so cheerful, don't your knees hurt? " and I go " I got up this morning, that's all I care about " . Forget about talking about sprouting or growing anything with these people. They want to talk about heart ailments and meds, (not that I don't listen) but there ARE things in life that can make us smile, and I choose to smile and talk to my sprouts. lol Melody > >>>>> > >> > > >>>>> > >> > Here's a better question; Why did you bring polyester when I asked > for > >>>> > >> cotton? > >>>>> > >> > > >>>>> > >> > , I went to buy organic cotton > >>>>> batting > >>>>> > >> > > >>>>> > >> > Well, I just came back from the fabric store. Guest guest
Pam, I'm hysterical. I just went to youtube and I wanted to get some more info on the Sure To Grow Mat, which I find fantastic. I typed in Sure to Grow Mat and hit the search button and the first 3 videos on youtube were MINE. How funny is that? Guest guest
LOL, I am laughing my butt off. First he brings you polyester, (which is made from plastic, so NO, you don't want to grow stuff in it. Polyester is made much like cotton candy is-plastic is melted and spun in to fibers. Polyester HAS to be made flame retardant, but it doesn't have to be labeled! MOST cotton is GMO (just like soybean) and is heavily sprayed with pesticides, which is why I suggest organic and unbleached. I bet that guy has repeated your conversation to many today-that crazy lady wants to grow FOOD in batting?? Ourrageous! lol > > >>>>> > >> > > > >>>>> > >> > Here's a better question; Why did you bring polyester when I asked > > for > > >>>> > >> cotton? > > >>>>> > >> > > > >>>>> > >> > , I went to buy organic cotton > > >>>>> batting > > >>>>> > >> > > > >>>>> > >> > Well, I just came back from the fabric store. Guest guest
. I'm doing another experiment. On unbleached and organic paper towels. We'll see what grows. And it's not chia or Flax this time. lol Melody
Guest guest
Go girl...give it a try! Can't wait to see what you are growing this time. I will refrain from telling my experience with unbleached organic paper towels, and/or unbleached muslin until your experiment is concluded! Now, back to the kitchen, you mad scientist! > > . > > I'm doing another experiment. On unbleached and organic paper towels. We'll see what grows.
