Guest guest
Here in my SoCal garden, I'm already pick zucchini. I loves my garden. ew Re: Fw: 15 Downright Delicious Zucchini Recipes I am just hoping zucchini comes up. The beans sprouted at least. nothing else was peeking up. I put beans 2 " down or think that was the measurement, maybe it was only 1 " but they were near the top of the soil. Looked just like bean sprouts like I'd grow in the sprout jar. I was so excited to see something peeking out. I turned off the Aerogardens tonight and moved them to some shelves. Not like I wanted as had to take out a shelf as they were too big for the shelves. So not as sturdy as it should be, but it looks good there. Hard to see the 2 on top. I have another set of shelves so will have to put those up too. Will have to take a shelf out as well. But I could put some sunflowers out there in mats I ordered. but I'm afraid to open them because of bugs and don't have space in freezer to freeze them. And the time was 60 days to kill off the bugs or larvae if they are in there. I could vacuum seal all of them but still have to plant some and don't want bugs flying around. Wonder if they were washed really really well if it would make any difference. I know that you, EW, says it is just a bit more protein. Thank you for the tip to take them off early while young. Will smother them with marinara sauce and mozarella, I think and bake them. Carolyn Wilkerson
