Hi Ladies,

I want to share with you the characteristics of a person who survives cancer or any other "incurable" disease. This enlightening list comes from a book called "The Gerson Therapy, the Amazing Nutritional Program for Cancer and Other Illnesses" by Charlotte Gerson and Morton , DPM. Dr. Max Gerson is one of my 20th century heroes. In my estimation, if you want to spend your health dollars wisely, this is the best $17 investment you can make in your health (beyond explant) this year. Get this incredible book! It covers the biography of Dr. Gerson and the fact that this therapy has been successful in curing terminal cancer and other incurable diseases, the biological basis for this therapy, the how to of this therapy and all of its components, modifications for cancer and other diseases, discussions of labs and their results, psychological approaches of this therapy, success stories, pictures, AND recipes! All of us know someone who could benefit from this book, even save lives.

This is their list of characteristics that set apart survivors:

* asks alot of questions and makes multiple new health discoveries

* seeks out others knowledgable about health care

* questions the practices of conventional oncological medicine (COM)

* examines offerings in complementary and alternative medicine(CAM)

* uncovers and then puts aside the abundant myths perpetuated by both

medical disciplines (COM & CAM)

* associates closely with a higher spiritual power

* keeps faith in, acquires hope for, and expects healing from that higher

power

* abandons self pity and accepts personal responsibility for homeostatic

bodily functions

* avoids stressors and masters stress

* prepares a set of principles for living well and abides by them.

Admittedly, the Gerson therapy is a nutritional program that is difficult to follow if you do not have a huge amount of self discipline. But you have to ask yourself, do you want to feel good all of the time? Then how you eat and what you eat is the bottom line...it is the only way to give our bodies what they are asking for.

God bless.

Love,

Patty
