Guest guest
I'm curious to hear from anyone who's had triple arthrodesis surgery. I'm scheduled for surgery on March 1st, to my left foot. I'm a very active 29 year old, and try to not let CMT affect anything that I do. I have no muscle function below my knees and wear AFOs on both legs. My left foot has become very deformed, causing severe pain when I walk, and I've been contemplating surgery for 10 years, and now feels like the right time. Any advice from anyone on this forum on coping with non weight bearing on one leg for 6 weeks, and any stories of success (or not) from surgery would be very appreciated. I'm really hopeful to only have to take 2 weeks off of work, then be back to normal, even if I'm a little slow :-) Thanks!
