Guest guest
I agree , the people with CMT have been wonderful. 13 years of 504's IEPs, no elevator acess, disability discrimination, uncooperative schools and school districts, children made to stand in the cold, P.E. issues, stairs/no stairs, fatigue from walking at such large campuses, ADA non-comliance, private lawyers, having to educate everyone in our paths, and much more. We don't give up until our rights are respected, acknowledged and appropriate action taken. We are only stronger and resilient from these adversities and others to numerous to mention. Instead of burning the candle at both ends, we hold a flaming torch so powerful to burn our message into the dysfunctional systems that attempt to quiet us. From fights over religion on one list, to ST**** chit-chat on another, we 'birthed' . I think your youngest was still a todler and I think your oldest was in high school 13 years ago. lol we survived the onelist takeover and the egroups/merger with . We survived spammers and salespersons and continue to do so. The phonies eliminate themselves. We have emerged triumphant inspite of everything. Plus treatment news of NT-3, Ascorbic Acid and now the STAR initiative has lifted our spirits in down times and given us hope. We can hold our heads high and be proud of all we've accomplished.
