Guest guest
IMHO - we are sisters and brothers who have lived different lives in different places until the DS/ASD hit our families. Because we are different, it hit each of us differently and hit each of our children differently. Because we are human. we respond differently. I would hope that the founding mothers of this list have taught us that we can differ without name calling, flaming, abusing each other. We certainly can learn from each other - even when we vehemently disagree. EXAMPLE: I would NEVER do some of the face changing/tongue cutting surgeries highly recommended on some lists. But if a person who has done this or had this done joined our list and wished to share the family experience, I would learn from it - not agree - but learn. Join this list to share and learn, support and disagree, but be here for each other!
