Guest guest
Ok, so everything has been going pretty well, no resistance to new foods, so far. I even informed his teachers about what we were trying and to let me know if they saw any changes in NOah, positive or negative. My question now is, do you guys send a lunch to school and if you do, what do you send? I made him a PB & J with rice bread, but the bread was so hard. I toasted it, but Noah will not have this luxury at school. I called the food coordinator to ask what steps I needed to take to get the district to provide him with a meal that works with his diet. I have yet to recieve a phone call back and I am almost certain this is going to be yet another battle, but I wont be sure that his diet is working if he eats well here and then eats cafeteria food at school. So, in the meantime, I wanted to send his lunch until we come to an agreement because this would really also help me with food costs if they can provide a lunch for him. If I am not mistaken, if teh district is provided with documentation that states this is what he needs, they should comply. Am I wrong? Anyway, lunch ideas? Thanks, Leilani
