Guest guest
I am looking for some water shoes for aquafitness with some actual arch support and structure to them. Anybody have some good suggestions?
Guest guest
I wear an old, clean pair of New Balance 854/855's Still strong, still durable but too soft for land. My orthotist explained that I didn't needd arch support in water, beause the water becomes the support. This is true for both pool and ocean for me. Or if you want to spend the $, look into Teva shoes. Gretchen
Guest guest
I use Teva shoes and they are great. They fasten with velcro and hold my foot in fine. I can walk from the car into the pool and don't have to spend half an hour (slightly exaggerated) to change shoes when I get there. When I'm done, I walk back to the car. I wouldn't wear these shoes for normal walking, but they're fine for short distances and great in the pool. I also swim laps, and I prefer to take off the shoes for lap swimming. Then I sit on the steps and put them back on before I get out of the pool. Heaven.

Guest guest
The shoes are not heavy to me, but we are all different. I don't have their exact weight, but they are lighter than my tennis shoes.
Guest guest
I have been doing water aerobics for years and find that RYKA Aqua shoes are best for me. They look just like a tennis shoe and give lots of support. The weight has not been a problem for me in the water but that is for each person to decide. Good luck.
