Guest guest
Some spring rolls or egg rolls have noodles in them, like the celophane ones and some might have low mein. You can use mushrooms in small slices to substitute for meat. I like bok choy so I think I'd use that even with othr sprouts. Good luck on that and when you have a good mixture, let us know. Here is one you might like, listed below. I also found a quinoa stuffed tomato. That sounded interesting too and they said it was good. If you want it, let me know and I'll paste it in here. If its organic seed to grow then its organic enough to sprout. Either way its gotta be better then conventional seeds that some places sell that say there Good. As for my seeds, well Im sorry to say they arent doin to well at this point....They are presently in my digestive tract...lol Want to understand the Bible better?  FREE  studies.  For more info Just ask! ________________________________ To: sproutpeople Sent: Thursday, June 7, 2012 6:31 PM Subject: Re: Checking in and Egg rolls...  - which begs the question, why do we need to buy specifically " sprouting seeds " vs. regular seeds? I've noticed in many cases there are varieties much more readily available as organic garden seeds than as organic sprouting seeds. For some varieties there are only one or two (or no) sources available on internet, but regular organic varieties are available from garden seed suppliers. I do remember somewhere reading an explanation, but don't remember what it was and couldn't find anything with a quick search. Are all you seeds still doing OK? Dona > > No they was seeds for gardening, but they was organic so I tried them. They normaly was like $3 dollars a pack but was on sale for 20. cents a pck so I figured what the heck, only got about 50 seeds in them but they do pack a big punch for flavor! > >  > Want to understand the Bible better? >  FREE  studies. >  For more info Just ask! > > > > ________________________________ > > To: sproutpeople > Sent: Wednesday, June 6, 2012 2:17 PM > Subject: Re: Checking in and Egg rolls... > > >  > Hi - > > Re the seeds you bought at WalMart - were they sprouting seeds? > > Dona > > > > > Our local walmart was having a clearance on a few of there organic veggie seeds a couple weeks back, so we picked up a few packages. > > > > >
Guest guest
The main reason you would want sprouting seeds specifically, is because seeds for planting are stored way differently than seeds for immediate consumption. Seeds for gardening may be stored for quite some time, and in a way where they could be exposed to vermin, larvae, rats, etc. Organic or not, storage for them is much more lax than it woul be for seeds to sprout. Also, many factories coat their seeds with sprays to prevent them from sprouting before planting, or to color code them so they can be identified-none of these things would have a chance to grow out of the seed if you were to sprout just the seed, rather than to grow a whole plant. For that reason, I recommend sticking with the ones marked for sprouting, which of course you can plant to grow a plant from as well-not so much the other way around. > > > > No they was seeds for gardening, but they was organic so I tried them.
