Guest guest
Dawn, 1) Coming Up May 17-21 is National Peripheral Week. Tie you and your CMT story into this for some great awareness with your local newspaper, television and radio stations. If you need " how to do its " contact me off list. 2) Coming up later this year is a CMT Awareness Month. More about this later. 3) Plan an awareness event/fundraiser in your community - invite your City Council members and spouses, Mayor and wife, other officials, keep it simple, something like a pancake breakfast or spaghetti dinner. Your local Rotary Club may just be willing to supply the food AND prepare it. Get plenty of CMT brochures, invite your local media, perhaps make a short speech during dinner about CMT. (see #1) 4) There are 100's of ideas. Instead of waiting for an Awareness Day, become a leader and start one! The possibilities are endless for * any day * to be a Awareness Day. 5) Connect with one of the CMT Support Groups nationwide for what they are planning in terms of awareness.
