Glad to hear your good news and it gives me hope for the future.  Our son,

Darwyn,  (4 1/2 also) has had 3 heart surgeries. When we were told in October

not to come back for a year for our next echo and it was like a giant window of

time and light and opportunity opened up and I felt like I could breathe more

easily.  Love our cardiologist and the cardiosurgeon but I would be thrilled to

never need to see them again.

Thanks,

We saw 's (4 1/2) cardiologist Dr. Candace Gibbon today. While we love her

I'm happy to say that we shouldn't be seeing her for another 3 - 5 years!!!

had an sedated echocardiogram at 's Hopkins over the summer, and

everything looked great. Dr. Gibbon had said that if the echo was good

wouldn't have to have another one for 5 years. We didn't think the yearly exams

would stop, but apparantly they do.
