Guest guest
Thanks for all of the input and good thoughts! We ended up going to the hospital for IV fluids and IV Rocephin, just for overnight. Nick is pretty much back to his old self! The IV fluids and maybe IV Rocephin did the trick! Other than dehydration, which did not show up on the blood and urine tests, nothing was found. There are a couple of tests not yet complete, but I am not expecting too much, since he had such a big turn around. The Dr. said he is fine to go to the respite house this weekend, which I wouldn't normally do, but we have a free hotel night in Lake from Special Olympics, for tonight and the Polar PLUNGE tomorrow (High temp to be 17 degrees). I have been looking forward to this for so long, I am going!! I do have good back up coverage if needed. We go back to the ped. next week, for follow up and I will keep you posted. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. By the way, Nick is 11 years old. Thanks again!
