I originally posted the question regarding Time Out Rooms (which are

highly illegal), Illegal use of restraint, abuse, etc. in our kids

schools across the nation as it was suggested by a staffer that's part

of the Transitional team for our new Presidential Admin. that it would

help to get a proposal for a Bill/ACT on Obama's desk in late Jan. . I

had no expectation of what has came from that post - over 1,000 offlist

emails and posts. It seems to be concentrated in alot of Eastern and

southern states - but I don't feel I have the full amount of feedback

that could come from this as some have not responded on some lists (and

some lists have close to 40 responses in less then a week). If you are

more comfortable with it please email me directly. I was blessed with

the ability to type extremely fast and will give up some sleep to make

sure I respond to all emails that come in with at least a 'Thank you' .

Many are in need of Professional Advocacy so I would LOVE to hear from

those that are Advocates locally - I work nationally and globally.

Please continue to respond to this request for information about Time

Out and other Illegal abuses in our schools. We have to protect our

kids and the first step is turning 'ban's' into actual Reform Law that

has very stiff consequences. In order to get this, I need your input.

So if you know about this occurring anywhere even if it's not with your

own child please email me or post back and let me know the state and

school district. I will not divulge any personal information or

anything that will lead to any king of possible retaliation. Names,

email addresses, etc. are being blocked off but the emails and posts are

being copied and sent in to the Transition team as this can't wait until

Jan. to 'start' action.. they need to be ready to ACT immediately.

Please have anyone you may know email me at this yahoo acct. and let me

know about their situation too. I do not work for money and don't

accept payment for anything I do. So this is not someone looking for

work.. I have an income already - I am another concerned parent that has

been advocating for years and in 1997 registered as Civil Rights

Lobbyist at first for intimidation purposed when fighting out of

compliance districts.... when I found out how easy it was to Lobby for

our kids I started doing so right away in the late 90's. Now it's time

for Action. Help me help all of our kids... everyone that responds in

my opinion is an 'Advocate'. My son would have ended up in a Time out

room that had dire consequences .. I moved the year before I protested

in it and had it shut down.. only to find 7 more in that district. We

all need to do whatever part we can to help our kids. Thank you.
