Guest guest
Margaret, Thanks for the input. My gyno tried to tell me that at 31 I was to early for menopause. I knew it was starting and I have had hot flashes all along. I am not 45 and full blown menopause. Thanks for the input and I agree with you. Guest guest
At 31, you are not too early for your hormones to go completely out of whack. I would ask your gyno or reg doc to do a blood test to see where your hormone levels are. For the hot flashes, I have a hot flash cocktail that I use as I cannot take the estrogen or even black cohash (mimics estrogen in the body) as estrogen does nasty things (and I become nasty) to me. I am 1 year+ from my hysterectomy and swear by this regimin. My body can definitely tell when I don't take it. Here is my little cocktail - good luck! Hot Flash Cocktail * 400 IU vitamin e (mixed d-tocopherols) * 500-600 mg calcium citrate with 400 IU vitamin d * 200 mg magnesium citrate * 500 mg vitamin c with bioflavonoids * Omega-3 fatty acids (equivalent of 360 mg DHA & 240 mg EPA) * Take AM and repeat in PM (taken from HormoneJungle.com) _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Sent: Tuesday, November 25, 2008 9:02 PM To: Subject: Re: Cyndi Margaret, Thanks for the input. Guest guest
Thank you Cyndi for the Wellness Pharmacy info. I will definitely call them. So far I got him to take some of mine in his milk but I'd rather have something I know is better for him. Thanks again and have a Great Holiday! Guest guest
You can also buy probiotics at local health food stores. That would save shipping costs. They come in powder & capsules & the dosage is listed on the bottle. My son & I both take them. It really helps with his constipation, but he still has to take the Glycolax also (like Miralax). Mine says to take 1st thing in the a.m. on an empty stomach. It is Acidophillus (sp?) & is GFCF. , mom to
Guest guest
Hi, Everyone....Cyndi...there are several of you on this site that have such a gift for poetry and writing so eloquently. Me.......I get straight to the point with as few words as possible. Gareth said this morning " Mom. Guess come night? Santa Clause!!! " He's 20 y/o but the child like spirit is still there....he has no clue and I told DH and his brother that I want to keep it that way. Thank you for the beautiful poem and I want to wish everyone a very, merry and blessed Christmas. Also, a belated, blessed Hanukkah to others. Take care, Everyone. Guest guest
Margaret, Hey howdy hey. I knew you did not mean that he shook constantly. used to shake and drool at times on the Risperidal after he had been on this for about 2 yrs. Especially when the Docs tried to increase the dose to help the behaviors. I bet it is the depakote with the Keppra. Which that he hard since he obviously needs both to keep him from seizing. Oh Margaret our lives are never easy. good luck deer you and Gareth deserve it. Cyndi B > > Hi, Everyone.....Cyndi....Gareth's dosage is split twice a day. He did fine > on 500 mg Depakote, 2 X day.
