Guest guest
Hi, Everyone.....Liz....since I have started working as a sub para, I have seen a lot, too. We are in a very good district....pro-inclusive, etc. I have witnessed paras *shorting* out on hard kids, and have always tried to intervene, even if only to say " can I help " or " is there something I can do? " Several teachers have asked me if I would go full time with a certain student because he did so well with me that day. I have to tell them 'no' because of Gareth. Our kids know when they are wanted in the classroom and can definitely sense 'nasty' teachers and aides. They aren't stupid & mindless like many assume they are. << had a private pity party>> Hey, Charlyne.....I've had lots of them, too. I think having a good cry cleans the soul and allows patience to pour in. I know, I'm odd!!! That and a tall glass of good wine!!! Once again.....Happy Birthday, Zed!!! Take care, Everyone.
