Guest guest
Laurie, This is what I had given the adults a card with a scratch off, they did not mind it or sometimes if money is not too tight those gift certificates from restaurants, sometimes they are sold like for $5.00 and inside are like 5/$1.00 gift certificates.Adults could receive some type of mini-loaf bread or cute wrapped up mini fruit basket, do not know if you know how to make those cute felt like mouse and insert a candy cane. Kids: those $ 1.00 or 2 for $1.00 Christmas books or Disney type Golden books in those small decorative gift bags with mini-plastic slinkies, a miniature-play-doh, some type of slimy type lizard or dinosaur for the boys, mini-clapper, maybe someone here could suggest for the girls, mini beanie animals or soft plush, etc. Check out this site, get some ideas and then should you mosey over to Wal-Mart, Target or Dollar stores, they should have something similar to it. http://www.orientaltrading.com/ Irma,20,DS/ASD > > > Im looking for cheap gift ideas for Mics class, Theres 8 adults and 8 kids in Mics class and I thought Id give the adults a scratch off lottery ticket with a card from Mic, and the kids ,now here Im alittle stumped. Guest guest
Laurie,I used to work in a daycare and one of the cutest gifts we got from parents were ceramic angel magnets. They were a nice size. They have a lot of cute little gifts like that at most dollar stores. They usually have some cute candles too. I know our dollar stores here in NJ also have some really nice hardcover children's books, that way you don't have to worry about food allergies or kids who might bite crayons.Terry
Guest guest
Hello, I am in the process of making ornaments with the kids for all the teachers in there classes and bus drivers. There is a very simple dough receipe that is made of flour salt and water. Wicked nice to work with and then the kids can paint and they are personal. Guest guest
This is what I did for Nick's teachers, aide, therapists, etc. this year! I bought the mugs last year after Christmas, for about $.20, so even with the other stuff, I think it was less than $.75 each, including a gift bag. I printed cards on the computer, adding Nick's school picture. Be sure to watch the after Christmas sales and try to stock up. I have gotten Christmas pins for 10-25 cents, nice ornaments, etc. The Dollar stores here have 2 or 3 for a dollar after Christmas, see what they have, especially gift bags. Good luck! Joni Snowman Soup 1 package hot chocolate mix 3 Hershey Kisses 1 handful of miniature marshmallows 1 candy cane Put items in a mug and wrap with cellophane. This is what I put on the tag: Was told you've been real good this year Always glad to hear it With freezing weather drawing near You'll need to warm the spirit So here's a little Snowman Soup Complete with stirring stick Add hot water, sip it slow It's sure to do the trick!
