Guest guest
No personal story here on our part, due to having bilateral ear tubes, so no luck here undergoing the HBOT treatments. If was able to, would of undergone this treatment as I know he will benefit from the HBOT treatments. In the beginning I was hesitate of the thought of being claustrophobic as I knew I might have to go in with as a trial. Then when I was ready found out a no go when one has ear tubes, I do too. Lets see if you could access one of the latest update of one of the Power Point presentations which is presented out at the DAN! conferences, USAAA, & Autism One conference, etc. http://www.udaan.org/nr2con/Rossignol.pdf HBOT for Autism http://ca.youtube.com/user/USAutismAndAsperger Google: Review of the Pathophysiology of Autism and Possible Benefits of HBOT. Guest guest
Yes we have done HBOT with with great results for healing an open wound on his head that he has had for over 2 years. We did 40 HBOT treatments at 1 hr and 15 minutes 2 x daily. He actually started verbally more after each treatment. However he is still mostly non- verbal but we are going to do more HBOT. The Dr. here kept putting off reason not to order it for . So it is back to VA for us. Guest guest
Sara, Here are 2 links of personal stories of kids/people helped by HBot. One is a teenager that was in a horrific car accident that could not walk or speak and the Dr. gave up on him. The other was a child that was born " Gracie " and the Dr. told her parents she would never see, or be able to do anything. Both are amazing stories about using HBOT.
