Holly > Jayne, sure knows how to write. I did hear from her the beginning of this month. Does TRY to review the listserve when she can. *** Jayne, hope you do not mind me sharing away some of 's tremendous progress. Bits and pieces. Just wonderful update despite her set backs. Many prayers towards her strength needed for the accomplishments needed and have managed. I just admire her so much. RE: " Also went for an outside speech eval after Thanksgiving, his speech is really blossoming and it's so exciting! He's like a little parrot right now - whatever you say, he repeats you - makes for pretty tough conversation but I'll take it- the intent to speak is there! Also loving our Community Support Worker, . She is amazing, a life saver, and a gift from God all wrapped up in one! She is here 25 hours a week and with that has made life so much more enjoyable for all. She's got brushing his teeth, showering, putting away laundry, setting the table, eating dinner with us, getting lots of playing outside, barely watching tv - it's amazing! So thankful for her! It's nice when one person can focus solely on his needs and the rest of us can focus on what we need to do. Makes dinner make it to the table on time and the others not feel so left out. He's reading really well and learning how to add at school. His Ed Tech that he's been with (this is their 3rd year together) is amazing and has helped him to achieve all that he has so far. He's done a 180 since moving here. He's actually spending a very large chunk of his day included in the reg ed 3rd grade class. The kids are just wonderful with him and love to see him succeed. It really makes me happy and so proud. I hope to get active on the list again sometime soon - most likely after the holiday's " . Normally do not like posting without permission but just had to share the update going on and keep her in your prayers and that continues succeeding in many areas as he have with the supported assistance who have crossed his path where needed.
