Guest guest
Hi everyone, Please excuse the cross post but I'm hoping someone has some ideas. 's Ed Tech is taking an Adaptive Math class and her mid-term is to make and mail in to the instructor a manipulative example of how to teach division with decimals to a child with autism! She had told her instructor to challenge her and to give her assignments that she can use with her student, ie: . This wasn't quite what she was hoping for - is no where near ready for division but her instructor feels it's definitely plausible. is 9, in the third grade, and still learning that 4 objects means the number 4. The Ed Tech is getting ready to introduce addition, NOT division! LOL! I told my Ed Tech, I'd put the word out to the " experts " and see if anyone had any inputs. I appreciate the help - thanks in advance, Jayne check out the view from my shoes at www.wickedbusymomto3.wordpress.com __________________________________________________
