IMHO phillus or Probiotics, yogurt with active cultures and ask the doc

about DILUTE clorox baths. Clindimycin tears up the digestive tract.

I don't remember how old is, but Elie started with the boils,

pimples, etc from waist to thighs as an adolescent. I call it acne of the

butt, but of course it has a medical name which sounds MUCH WORSE>

gets those too, on his buttocks. I had some Rx triamciolone ointment

for an open area on his face having a hard time healing, and used it on a sore

spot on his buttocks and it curred it in a few days.  I did notify his doc

before hand, she is usually fine with giving things a go. shawna

I and have taken clindamyicin and nothing has happened. has

had cellulitis several times. In fact he had an open wound on his

head that would not heal for 2 years. I had him to a Dermatologist,

and wound care specialist, and his own pediatrician. We finally did

40 HBOT treatments and the hole closed. Then he got cellulitis of the

face and not it will not heal. We will be doing HBOT again to heal.

Did they do the cultures before any antibiotics or after? is

doing better since we have him on a good probiotic and several

different supplements. Cyndi B

Cyndi,They did the culture before the antibiotics so hopefully it was accurate.

already is having loose bowel movements and he is usually a very

constipated kid and takes lactulose, which I stopped for the antibiotic course.

I wanted to ask what probiotics you use. I tried opening one of my capsules this

morning and sprinkling it in his cereal but I think he tasted it and only ate a

little. Any suggestions?I'm glad is doing better.Terry

Try putting the probiotics in pudding , ice cream or applesauce (my

favorite.)

I'm assuming that the antibiotics given in this original post were due

to MRSA (I spent over 40 days on life support after getting it in my

lungs somewhow last summer 07) - The same thing my doctor ordered for

me is very helpful in regards to probiotics - Acidopholis Milk.

It's one of the best natural probiotics and is easily hidden from our

kids that can detect anything !!! Mom is making Milkshakes *he calls

them that* , they are actually the Acidopholis Milk with Ice so it's

an Icee..he can't tell any difference and after a high yeast that

seemed to reverse some of the effects of Chelating (I'm not too sure

of the safety of this unless you really have a Dr. in touch with it).

After about 3 weeks of the Icee's he's done another 180 and is

starting to emerge with more speech..although atonal and mostly non

pragmatic....it is speech.

Terry, I order 's probiotics from Wellness Pharmacy because they

are casein gluten free and this is the one the Dr. wanted him. Whole

Foods sells one that is good that is gf/cf and it is in the

refrigerator section. Dr. Mumper said use the ones that are

refrigerated. The ones from Whole Foods are called Advanced 40+

Acidophilus 1.5 billion Microorganisms per use. They are suitable for

vegetarians. They are made by SolGar.They have no dairy, no wheat, no

major allergens. I think they were like $16.00 for 60 capsules. If you

want to call Wellness and talk with them ask for n and there # is

or . If you are having problems with

giving probiotics they can help with a solution I am sure. takes

Klair Labs ther-Biotic Complete 25+ billion and they are 60 vegetarian

capsules and they are $21.45. I hope this helps. Cyndi B
