: A few words of wisdom

Thanks for all the thanks you's but I was just passing along the inspiration

that someone passed to me. My last few weeks have been crazy with Jake. He has

had a terrile cough that I was sure would turn into something else. He was into

nonstop screaming for the smallest of things. His teacher had almos given up

and was resorting to swinging at times because it was the only thing that seemed

to comfort him. He was totally impatient and frustrated with everything. I

knew he was sick but nothing was showing up but the cough. The doctors could

find nothing and so we just had to wait it out. It seems that we are in the

final stretch. The past 2 days he has been back to himself. The constant

yelling and screaming is just so overwhelming and exhausting. I had even called

Dr. Capone to see if we needed to consider another medication. I know people

had asked some questions of me so if I ignored it was just because I could nto

sit down to type my thoughts for longer than a few seconds.

Vanina, I went to college in Dallas Texas. I have never been out of the country

other than to Mexico since I was raised on the Mexican border way south in

Texas. I now live in PA.

I did want to tell everyone that I was able to get 3 gymnatic folding mats for

Jake's basement room. I hope to have some swings hung for this winter. Plus we

have the big new cuddle cushion that he loves. My goal is to have his own

sensory room. He is still loving toy story so we get lots out of that. I do

beleive that we will need new CD's by Christmas time though. He is very hard on

CD's videos and any computer equipment. I think we are on our 4th portable dvd

player. But hey, it is totally worth the freedom it allows us!
