Guest guest
Miss Laurie, as I was reading your post, I had tears in my eyes. I often think about Noah and what it is like for him to try and make friends, and what it will be like when he gets older as far as relationships. It is a beautiful thing when two people find one another and connect. I remember this one time I took Noah to Mcs and he was in the play area. Now, when Noah thinks he might like you, he gets REALLY close to your face and does this kind of dance, or he will yell. Most kids are intimidated by this, as I would be had I not known that it really is a term of endearment. However, this particular time, he went up to this boy about his age, got in his face, and yelled. I thought, " oh no, this is it. He's going to be scared, or run. " But after about a five second pause, he got even closer to Noah and yelled right back. After that they were inseperable while the played togethor. I was so appreciative and happy that Noah had a good time, that I made it a point to tell his mom how impressed I was with her little boy. I am so happy for your Mic. Yea BFF's!!!!!!! ________________________________ To: ; lsjf001@...; Kathleen Michel- ; madrago2328@...; micpac12122@...; therev@...; amy fain ; Amy Berthiaume Sent: Monday, December 29, 2008 7:31:21 PM Subject: friendship A very sweet little autistic boy from Mics school came up to me at the school xmas party and said to me " Are you Mics Mom,Mic is my best friend and I always wanted to meet Mics Mom " I was stunned, I asked him what his name was he told me " Luke " and took my hand and led me to his Dad and said " Dad, this is Mics mom " I had tears in my eyes. Guest guest
Laurie, Such a cute & precious story. Yep, it is amazing that no matter what we deal with it is nice to hear stories or surprises like this. Mic and his best friend. This is too cute. Glad Mic's buddy has such a heart and Mic has allowed it. This was nice on meeting Luke's parent too. Awesome!!!
