Guest guest
PS - Nori, the description you read was my vision for this list when I created it. Despite recent comments, although I " own " the list (Yahoo's term), I choose not to control the people on it...too much. I create some barriers. We did a lot of talking about tools and systems in teh beginning Again, take a look at the files section or the links section to see some of it. My favorite area is video self-modeling, a method that Beth first pointed out and researched. I've since gathered articles on it and am using the technique as the basis for attempting to create flash movie social stories for Andy for his iPod Touch. (another post you can find recently that I went into more detail about on a blog - joan.wordpress.com). It is true that the list is not as solution-based as I had thought it might be. And I appreciate what you are saying very much. I realize through this process tonight, that in general, the group has steered away from sharing techniques and tools over the years. Why...I remember when Leah Baker sent me 's social stories and mary Beth sent Ben's social stories for some of the first workshops we did for NDSS.... Leah is the queen of visual tools. How do others feel? Do we need to find a way to infuse some tangilbe solutions to the list? Perhaps we consider a monthly webinar. Thoughts?
