Gareth has had two bouts of cellulitis since Oct. and we are just starting to deal with these issues, too. I forgot the meds G was on initially but one cleared up fine and the other is still oozing. He's on no antibiotics now but I have to put Aquacel on it.....a silver coated gauze like material that kills bacteria. I would definitely push the yogurt and Acidophilus, too. Did he complain of pain or is it something you just noticed. The wound doc that G goes to couldn't believe the kid was walking with the huge cellulitis that he had to open in the office.
