Guest guest
I am so sorry, , to hear of that awful call. People often don't understand how devastating change is to our kids and how deep their love is for their regular teachers/caregivers. It's the double whammy of ASD/DS and your son's situation illustrates that perfectly. Maybe if you could explain this to them they would have a little sympathy. Let us know how it goes. Beth, mom to , age 8, DS/ASD/leukemia survivor What to do.... I have posted too much to now ask for help/support from the listmembers. I pray for all the parents and their kids. My son's teacher was absent today and he rebelled against the sub., in short I have to fly to Calif. ASAP if I can't get this straightened out by phone. I can't even type this up. It's too much. I'm very sorry to those that have been offended by the queries I asked. It has now came back to me full force and it is not me that is suffering - it's my son.
