Guest guest
Each bottle of probiotics is different. Check out the weight against the age. If no weightor age on your bottle, use the LOWEST adult dosage. I would suggest you have take the probiotic 2 hours after his antibiotic and to take with a full glass of water to hurry it to the lower intestine. Reading up on probiotics, the amount needs to be regulated dependent on how active the peristalsis of the intestine is - remember the ds-asd rule - start slow and low!!! > Sara,Do you know how much probiotics I should give? is 11 1/2 > and weighs about 75 lbs. Guest guest
Thanks Sara. I also called my pharmacist and he said the same thing. I opened one of my 10 mg. capsules and sprinkled a little more than half of it in his food. I think if he tested neg. for MRSA she could have given him something else. I know she is just being cautious but I read that you could also use bactrim or Septra which I would be a little more comfortable with.Terry
