Guest guest
Sara, I am fully in support of this idea. Although it is also included in The Autism Reform Act, bringing attention to this 1 point is VERY Important. None of us know what will come of all of this but I do feel that we need to speak boldly regarding the needs of our children - and the lack of provision of those needs by using waiting lists, etc. to slow the movement of ratification of such Laws that exist already. I added this idea to my auto-signature of my email - since I am replying to so many emails a day..like many of us... I believe it makes a difference. Anything that any of us can do to further Awareness is extremely important. I'm glad to see that this idea has had such a huge response as it is something that can be done before an adversity strikes so badly that we can't turn it around (such as in the GA. CNN episode). I hope to see you gain a continuous large amount of momentum in this and look forward to being in the final round together so we can really show those that may make a difference that parents will no longer stand for a 'No' . The grassroots movement being made here will not be forgotten.
