Guest guest
Hi everyone, Belinda here, I joined a few weeks back, just been reading since then, now we have our assessment on Monday for my daughter Jemma, 3 1/2 and im a bit nervous. For about a month or so I've known the possibility of a spectrum diagnosis, and since then, been noticing a lot more that Jemma does that is 'different', which previously I havn't, Its just 'her' if you know what i mean. Now I'm doubting myself, have I gone overboard in looking?? Am I making something out of nothing, just because Ive read and asked questions? I know she has sensory problems but I wonder If I just havn't put enough time in for her or moving house a year ago has affected her, (I think Im having a grieving moment just reading this back to myself lol.) Did anyone else feel like this before assessment?? Anyway I'll soon know, but just felt like writing, thanks for reading.
