We have an opportunity to encourage the new administration to change the way in which our children live and are treated. See below TWO proposals coming before the OBAMA admin. One has to do with AUTISM . The second has to do with Mediaid Waivers. Each of you can go to the web sites appended and VOTE that these be presented. We have been told that input from the general populace is being actively solicited and that WE can determine where items will be on the agenda and WHICH ones those will be. Health care reform and help for people with disabilities are two areas which impact for whom I vote. And now we have a chance to ADVOCATE. Very scary to think that CNN would pick up a story about locked seclusion rooms from this very tiny place in GA. Imagine what is happening in other more populated places.
